Bookish Businesses to Check Out

Whether you´re looking for the perfect holiday gift for your friend who loves books, or even if you just want to treat yourself to some fun bookish pieces and merchandise, supporting small businesses is a great way to find what you are looking for! So I’ve compiled a list of shops and sites to check out, so you can not only support artists and business owners but also so you can have access to some of the cutest and most creative book-related items. 

1) The Bookish Goods 

This online site has the absolute cutest items and merchandise that are centered around the love of reading. They have belt bags if you want to carry a novel on the go, the comfiest embroidered sweatshirts, and super soft blankets. All of that is is only a fraction of the items they have. It is the coziest little shop with all the goodies you need for a warm and snug day spent reading. I would check it out if you´re looking for more subtle book merchandise!

This small business genuinely has some of the most creative and beautifully decorated pieces! She truly offers so much. If you´re looking for ornate items like bookmarks and pins, this is the shop for you. All their items are catered towards and reference different fandoms, books, and characters. Her hardwork and and artistry is evident in the color and detail in her bookmarks, pins, mugs, stickers, pillows, etc. Like Pride and Prejudice and Mr. Darcy mugs and pins? Yes please. I highly recommend checking out her items and art. 

3) Dash of Knutmegg 

As soon as you open up this website, you are greeted with the message “Magical Art for Every Literary Lover” and honestly what more could you ask for? I cannot emphasize how whimsical and charming these fine art pieces are. Many of them depict scenes from Harry Potter, with super cute and colorful pictures of Hagrid’s house and the common rooms. They’re full of detail and would be the perfect addition to any gift bag or empty frame that you have. 

4) Kathy’s Bookish Shop 

If you’re looking for special sprayed edges and specially designed hardcover books, then check this one out! The stencils used for the covers are stunning, and there is so much character and color to every book that you can order from here. The edges are also super cool with patterns and drawings that match each book perfectly. It would be the most eye-catching addition to any bookshelf.
